Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026 · Governing the provision of digital and software engineering services by AMA IT in Finland and internationally.
01. Scope & Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the ordering, delivery, and maintenance of all web development, IT systems, and digital consulting services offered by AMA IT (ama-it.fi) in Helsinki, Finland.
By registering an account, placing an order, or commissioning a service through this platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
02. Service Ordering & Project Execution
- Scope of Work: Projects and services are executed based on the specifications defined in the service description and custom order notes.
- Delivery Timelines: Estimated delivery windows are communicated during checkout or via support tickets. Timelines are subject to prompt receipt of necessary client materials (e.g. logos, credentials, specifications).
- Support Tickets: All official project communication, feature requests, and bug reports must be submitted through our verified client helpdesk.
03. Pricing, Billing & VAT
All listed prices are denominated in Euros (€ / EUR). Invoices and digital receipts are generated automatically upon successful payment confirmation.
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. For recurring subscriptions or maintenance agreements, charges occur automatically on the scheduled renewal date unless cancelled prior to the billing cycle.
04. Intellectual Property Rights (Immateriaalioikeudet)
Upon full settlement of all associated project invoices, the client receives full ownership rights or commercial licensing (as specified in the project contract) for the final deliverables and custom source code.
AMA IT reserves the right to showcase completed public projects in its professional design and development portfolio, unless an explicit Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) has been agreed upon in writing.
05. Refunds & Cancellation Policy
Due to the custom, bespoke nature of digital software development and engineering labor, completed hours and delivered digital assets are non-refundable once work has officially commenced.
If an order is cancelled prior to project initialization, a refund minus administrative processing fees may be issued.
06. Governing Law & Jurisdiction (Sovellettava laki)
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of Finland, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these services shall be settled primarily through good-faith negotiation, or ultimately before the District Court of Helsinki (Helsingin käräjäoikeus).
